- The spring water and grassy areas of the inlets to the north of the marina provide good conditions for catching monster bass.
~f0The area surrounding the original riverbed that was dammed and flooded is now home to great bass structures. Chewalla Marina is located on the west side of the lake and has easy access to the town of Eufala.

~f0- The cuts and inlets along the shoreline provide great transition areas for bass to feed. You may hook into an alligator gar in these waters.
- Submerged roadbeds and man-made structures south of the marina are often good bass fishing areas.
- Follow the shoreline to the north and cast near the points to land big bass.
~f0Thousand Islands is an area of the St. Lawrence River that is famous for its numerous islands. One of the United State's northernmost continental bass fishing areas, the Thousand Islands area provides a great bass habitat.
~f1Area Angling Tips
~f0- Troll the sheltered bays to the north of the marina for bass that have moved into these areas to forage for food.
- Points and drop-offs near islands to the west of the dock provide great fishing spots to hook large bass.
- Bass prey on fishes that use rocky shoals for shelter.
~f0The south side of the St. Lawrence River near Clayton, New York, contains numerous bays that are home to feed bass. Smallmouth bass love to forage near the tournament's starting point.
~f1Area Angling Tips
~f0- The bays of Grindstone Island to the northwest of the marina often provide great spots for landing big bass.
- Do not drive too far before casting a line. A great fishery lies just off the coast of the marina.
- Shallow areas where creeks and rivers drain often are home to many bass.
~f0Situated on the west side of the Thousand Islands region, Cape Vincent is used by many skilled anglers. Havens for smallmouth bass can be found near this dock.
~f1Area Angling Tips
~f0- Smallmouth bass are often found near the shoreline where the bottom is rocky or sandy.
- Bays in this area are usually productive fisheries.
- Vegetation and/or submerged grass may indicate areas where bass feed.
~f0The thick dense aqueous vegetation of Lake Okeechobee provides great cover for bass and alligators. This shallow oasis is home to a large stock of fishes and exotic fowl.
~f1Area Angling Tips
~f0- Weedless lures are helpful in the waters to the east of the marina.
- Lilly pads provide great shelter for bass and are an excellent indicator of where to find bass.
- The sloughs to the east of the marina provide access to areas with excellent cover for fishes.
~f0The northwest side of the lake provides access to some great fishing. Although the lake is wide and shallow, much of the angling action occurs close to the shoreline and in the densely vegetated areas.
~f1Area Angling Tips
~f0- Cast at the edges of hydrilla and dense vegetation to catch bass.
- Don't get lost! Keep an eye on where you are going and where you have been.
- The lily pads are always a "hot spot" on this lake.
~f0Taylor Creek is considered the gateway to Lake Okeechobee because water flows into the lake near the marina. This north-side marina is renowned for easy access to open water and thick vegetation.

~f0- The dense vegetation along the eastern shoreline of the lake provides a great habitat for bass.
- Flip a weedless lure near the hydrilla beds to catch big bass.
- If you hook a feisty pike, do not waste time fighting the fish.
~f0Big bass hide in this super-sized Texas lake. Cassells-Boykin Park provides a central launch for angling. Creek inlets and abundant vegetation make this lake an ideal habitat for bass.

~f0- Cast near areas where depth changes and dense vegetation are both present.
- The creek inlets to the northwest of the marina are great spots for bass.
- The shoreline to the north of the marina is another productive spot for bass fishing.
~f0The southern end of Sam Rayburn Reservoir contains some legendary bass angling areas. Areas to the northeast of the impoundment have proven to be home to many lunker bass.
~f1Area Angling Tips
~f0- Drive north into the Bear Creek inlet and cast near the submerged roadbed and dense vegetation to land bass.
- Troll the shoreline going north, and you will probably hook a monster bass.
- The points and inlets across the channel provide areas for fishes to congregate.
~f0Located north of Buck Bay on the east side of Sam Rayburn Reservoir, this marina is close to great bass fishing. Inlets near the marina often contain big bass foraging in the standing timber.

~f0- Drive south into Buck Bay to find monster bass lurking in the standing timber.
- Inlets and coves north of the marina are productive fishing grounds.
- Changes in depth and points near the coves are good fishing spots.

~f1Casting the Lure
~f0- To select a casting style, press the [UP] / [DOWN] arrow keys.
- To activate the casting meter, press the [Z] key.
- To select power level, press the [Z] key again.
- To set the casting angle and cast the lure, press the [Z] key once more.
~f1Selecting a Lure
~f0- Before casting, select a lure that is appropriate for the conditions.
- To select a new lure, press the [SPACEBAR] to activate icons.
- Select the lure icon and press the [ENTER] key.
- Use the [LEFT] / [RIGHT] arrow keys to select a lure.
- To attach the selected lure to the rod, press the [ENTER] key.
~f1Retrieving the Lure / Setting the Hook After casting
~f0- Reel in the lure using the [Z] key. Fish may not bite a lure if a poor lure selection or incorrect lure movement has been made. Run the lure close to the fish. When the fish bites, set the hook.
- To set the hook, press the [UP] arrow key while the fish is biting the lure.
~f1Fighting the Fish
~f0- Landing a hooked fish is a challenge. Keep a sharp eye on the bar meter located on the screen and do not let the meter reach 100%. The line will snap if too much pressure exists.
- If the lure graphic shakes, move the rod by pressing the [UP] arrow key to prevent the lure from coming loose.
